I remembered the homily of the priest in Sigma, Capiz last June 7, 2009. He talked one common trait of humans – always forgetting, or deliberately forgetting to appreciate life’s blessings because we fantasize our blessings or gifts wrapped in fancy materials. But God knows what is best for us. Simply because He is our creator.
When our pleas are not answered, just wait. It doesn’t mean that He is not listening or working on it. It’s simply not a NO but teaching us the value of patience because He believe you deserved even better.
Going back to the homily, the priest made a very good illustration on this matter. He narrated a story of the father and son working as carpenters. The father is stationed in the loft working and looking after for his son on the ground cutting the woods to make the makeshift. Click here to read more
