This poem is inspired by my Chemistry teacher way back in High School at Dr. Vicente F. Gustilo Memorial National High School, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental. She used to hate me when I was a junior student. She hated me because I can exceed her challenges and she can never accept it. Time changed and we started to be in good terms when I reached senior. That time, we developed a strong friendship when we got to work together not only inside the classroom but with the extra curricular activities too. In fact she used to be my council coach. If there is someone whom I should thank to
I won’t have any doubt to say that is you
For you have made me
A worthy person that I dreamed to be.
You discouraged me to do better
Because you thought they are brigther.
You’ve cause me so much pain,
Up to the point that I want to get insane.
But event changes so abruptly
That I can’t believe, now you are a close friend of mine
I can’t think of a reason
Even with the passage of four seasons.
Only now I knew,
Why you’ve done such foolish things that hurt me so.
Just because you wanted me to be anew,
And me it easy to reach my dreams that I aspire to.
