Acrophobia (from the Greek: ἄκρον, ákron , meaning “peak, summit, edge” and φόβος, phóbos, “fear”) is an extreme or irrational fear of heights. It belongs to a category of specific phobias, called space and motion discomfort that share both similar etiology and options for treatment.
I’m not afraid of heights though since I used to do mountain climbing way back in college. Upon seeing the completed Club Ultima Tower, the newest sensation and place to visit here in Cebu City, I said to myself I should bring my team and experience the fun. And we did!
Club Ultima Towers are owned and managed by Crown Regency. It is situated right at the heart of Cebu City, just few steps from the famous and controversial Fuente Osmena Circle and Robinson’s Mall. It is considered to be the highest building here in Cebu City.
The tower houses myriad luxurious facilities and amenities such as gym, pool, restaurants, coffee shops, the skywalk, observatory, edge coaster, 4d movie house among others. Though a bit expensive yet it’s worth your money.
Going back to my team outing, after careful planning and working out the schedules, we finally had the chance to go out together. First, we watched the 4D movie. It’s a state of the art facility, much more advanced to the 3D movie house in Enchanted Kingdom in Sta Rosa, Laguna. Then we decided to go for skywalk instead of edge coaster after a few glances with their observatory. The rest was captured by the photographs.
